Hi, I’m Mason.
I’m a Colorado-based maritime officer, photographer, and someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out how things work. I studied Marine Transportation at Cal Maritime and have spent the last several years working aboard passenger ships, navigating everywhere from the Caribbean to Asia while helping keep thousands of passengers and crew safe.
Working at sea has given me a front row seat to places, cultures, and moments I probably never would have experienced otherwise. Somewhere along the way, photography became the way I started documenting it all. I enjoy capturing landscapes, ports, cities, and the small details that make a place feel unique.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors, tinkering with tech, planning the next trip, or trying to convince myself I absolutely need another camera lens.
This site is a mix of photography, travel, maritime life, and whatever else I find interesting along the way.
